First Aid and Advanced First Aid

Living in Samoa we had heard of many stories of people having to catch the bus to hospital while bleeding out, with broken bones and that there was limited access to first aid for burns, injuries etc.

Pirates are keen to deliver first aid courses and make first aid kits available in remote villages across the country. Our aim to make this education available, the resources available and increase the availability of fast first response to those that need it.

Among the Pirate crew we have a number of trainers, and those passionate about first aid and advanced first aid and CPR. This is especially important given that many villages are coastal and there are a lot of accidents at the beach.

Our goal is to train a minimum of 500 people through first aid and advanced first aid courses per annum and to distribute 500 first aid kits per annum while maintaining refreshers for those that have been through the course.
