Many of the members of the Eco-Pirates have a history in working in mental health support, addictions, social work and community development. It is a collective goal that into the future we facilitate an international programmes that offers detox, support with addictions and focus on the personal development of guests that come to health camp at camp Samoa.
The programme that will be developed will include elements of participation in the eco projects, adventure development activities and a lot of respite, swimming, singing, talking and relaxing.
At the moment we are gathering people that want to be involved in developing the programme and intervention. For now, we are making plans to build the camp! Follow the posts as we put them up to watch the programme develop and we introduce the programme developers to you.
The goal is that the first intake is in 2023.
We want a dynamic, exciting and effective programme that harnesses online opportunities for ongoing support.
