Yay for the starting of our plastic recycling plant ! The machines arrive in Jan and we will be chipping plastic and making pot plant holders, rubbish bins, clip boards and 3d printing filament !
Thanks to everyone that has given us plastic. I am so very disgusted at how much plastic we have collected from business and personal use over the last 12 weeks!

We have gathered recycled wood to make big boxes to store plastic before we chip it and turn it into useful things. This is a prototype project that we will replicate in Samoa.
I recall being on my boat in Samoa and five / ten / twenty miles off shore I saw PLASTIC ! floating plastic! EVERY WHERE!
Since then I have been determined to be able to recycle plastic and turn it into things that can be used for a long time ! Rubbish bins, plant holders, sports cones, roof tiles, fence posts, furniture. Items that when broken can be re-chipped and remade to useful things again.
ARCADIA is a plastic drop point now.
The garage is nearly set to be chipping.
The Eco Village building in Samoa is ready for when borders open.
We just need to raise 800k in the next two or three years to buy a wee tiny ship that will head into the South Pacific Gyre to grab plastic for recycling !
