Plans are well underway for the build of the first cabin to go on the beach at Tilotilo Lalomanu Samoa!
We have opted to build the first cabins in Christchurch New Zealand refitting a shipping container that will provide some modern basic luxuries, attached to a traditional Samoa Fale for cruisy beach side living.
The first cabin will be the show cabin on the beach and be the base for the reef planting activities at Lalomanu.
We have secured kayaks, snorkel gear, fishing gear to start a small hire business on the beach to further fundraise for the eco action!
We are excited to learn from our friends Artificial Reefs Samoa, who will share equipment and guide us on the reef strengthening mission.
For now we will build, find second hand materials and prepare to ship the first cabin over in March 2022!
